The 1971 Stanley Kubrick adaptation of Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange turns 40 this year. A special Anniversary edition Blu-ray is available today. Joy Behar interviewed Malcolm McDowell last week on her show. He talked about the controversy surrounding the film among other things. It was pretty entertaining, but I warn you, NOT suitable for children to watch. Burgess credits the film adaptation for the popularity of the book. Here's a great article on Wikipedia with some interesting bits of information.
