Weekend Cooking: Pinterest. The start of a funny dialogue.

The other evening, we were just sitting around the living room watching tv and winding down from our day. Baby Girl was perusing Pinterest when all of a sudden she said, "Mama, look at this..." Well this continued for what felt like 5,000 times, but I'm pretty sure I maybe exaggerating just a tad. Finally I said, "make a new board, and I'll take a look, all at once."

When I finally got around to taking a look, lo and behold, she clearly marked the board I was to take a look at: Mama...make this :p please

After I stopped laughing, I told her, "I'm so going to write about this for Weekend Cooking," she looked at me seriously and said, "Good, maybe I'll get more followers. I have one. And it's you."

We will have to whip up these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites when swim season starts again. They are high in protein, and use no flour, no oil, and no white sugar.

She was driving us home after registering for a class for the Spring semester at the University. I wasn't driving so I grabbed my phone to check out Pinterest. She said, "Check out my board. I have one word for you, PiePops." I smiled and said, "that's two words." To which she replied, "Not the way I said it." Hmmm. she had a point. We decided that we wouldn't need the sticks. We're just going to make "pie bites."

There's some more great stuff on her board. You gotta love Pinterest.

Hope you're having a nice, relaxing Sunday,
Angela

  3. Those cookies look so amazing! But I'm not sure I could get past the chickpeas in the recipe. I might have to make my own version. :)
