Bookmark's the spot

It's snowing here again. Big, ol' fat flakes. A perfect day to stay inside, and perhaps...read? Yes, reading sounds much better than doing the dishes or making dinner. I think the family will win on this one, though, and be fed another day. I've been feeling so dang blah lately. It's got to be the weather. I can't wait for spring.

Our weather has been so weird this winter. It was 60 a couple of weeks ago, and two days later it was 20. I just knew the extremes would be the death of us all. And I was right. Ok, sort of, I'm exaggerating. I do that sometimes (a lot), but my baby girl has strep throat and looks miserable. Being the sensitive, top-notch parent that I am, I asked if she could perhaps wear a mask when she was home. She said, "No." Damn.

Oh yeah, bookmarks. Here are some fun, free printables that I thought you might like.

These cuties with bookish quotes are pretty awesome too. Get yours from A Place for Twiggy.

Aren't these terrific? You can download and print them from Picklebums.

Lemon Squeezy is the creator of these pretties. You can get yours here.

Get these encouraging bookmarks from Alpha Mom.

Love this! Print these from A Place Called Kindergarten.

You have to check out these awesomes drawn by Laura at We Wilsons.

If you're looking for some more free printables, here are more classier page markers than a band-aid. And if you're feeling crafty, here are some handmade beauties.

Stay warm, and I'll talk to you soon.

  1. Great bookmarks and a great idea to make them, and it just so happens the snow started falling here today, as well. Thanks for gathering these up and sharing the links.

  5. Love all the bookmarks. Thanks. Hope your baby feels better. We've had a ton of snow as well and now it is supposed to rain tomorrow. This is why we all get sick.

  8. Hi Angela,

I just love browsing all the different bookmarks, they are something which I wouldn't mind starting a collection of and seeing as they are small items, surely hubbie wouldn't mind me taking up just one more drawer with my hobbies???

There you are .... Another good reason for holding onto the printed book ... all those beautiful bookmarks!!
